Women's Ministry
|
A group for those 55 years of age and older Ministry Goals Seniors are a very valuable part of our community. The strength and stability from the years of experience, time and resources they have to offer make a significant contribution. It is the goal of Seniors Touching Seniors to network those 55 years of age and older though fellowship and ministry. Bringing the seniors of Westside Community Church together will help us discover the treasures God has deposited over the years in each person. Together we will combine our God-given strength to serve the church and community, as well as, one another. • Fellowship - establishing Christ-centered relationships and friends • Support and encouragement of each other • Shut-ins - ministering to those who are unable to attend church due to poor health • Service - pooling our resoursces together to serve needs in the church and community • Prayer - we will stand as warriors to intercede for the needs of the church and its members • Being lights - to those who have not yet seen the goodness of God |
