Team Concept

Solutions for success are to be found working smarter. One of the smartest developments in the area of leadership is teamwork. It is both the biblical form and norm of leadership. With the increasing complexity, challenges, and change the church is facing today, team leadership has become even more important for the success of the church.

Westside Community Church models and teaches team leadership. The Eldership Team carries the primary oversight of the church. The eldership team consists of three of our pastors; Pastor Ron King who is the presiding elder, Pastor Todd Thomas, and Pastor Bruce Gyde. We have four men who are presently being mentored for the eldership team. They are Derek Hiley, Matt King, Larry Lindhurst our Children's Pastor and Don Turner III our Youth Pastor. Our eldership oversees the purpose and direction of the church. Our purpose here at Westside Community Church is to, “Impact the world through upreach, inreach, and outreach.
