Destiny
is a matter of choice - not chance.
At Westside Community Church we see the church as a community of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who are committed to demonstrating God's Kingdom on earth in the same way it is in heaven. (Matt 6:10, Acts 2:42-47)
What we believe concerning the faith is vitally important. It is an issue of spiritual life and death. This is why we must walk out the admonition in 1 Cor. 4:6, "Do not go beyond what is written".
We enjoy a contemporary style of worship and like King David, we experience the love and grace of God in our lives daily. Recognizing that everything we have comes from God and in gratitude for such love and grace we worship Him with what we have.
We see the world as a vast harvest field and our purpose is to have a life-changing impact on the world. Through "Upreach, Inreach and Outreach" we see this being accomplished by the restoration of the movement of the Holy Spirit who equips believers in their gifts, callings and zeal toward God. We see Him empowering us in disciple-making and in the building of strong families, beginning here in our own families, then to friends, neighbors and beyond.
